Smartroof
A smartroof is a sensor and weather controlled roof with a much larger waterstorage capacity than an ordinary greenroof. In addition to a testsite for this new form of waterstorage the Smartroof will also provide the rooftopfarm of the water needed. The Smartroof will be realized in the course of 2016 on the roof of the rooftoppavilion on the DakAkker rooftopfarm in association with Citylab010, Binder green and roof, Optigreen and the Rotterdam Environmental Centre.
