November 2013 – start of construction phase 3

Start Phase III : After a long period in which working behind the scenes to the legal and licensing aspects of the bridge, the construction is resumed. An exciting moment as the bridge is hoisted over the railway tack. This is only possible due to a gap in the rail schedule, which occurs once every ten years. During the night from the 2 – 3 November, the Royal BAM took 5 hours to place the bridge sections over railway track.
