The district municipality of North sees potential in the redevelopment of the roof of the Hofbogen to green the densely populated districts of Rotterdam North and thereby give a boost to the area. The basic principle of the Spatial Framework that has been drawn by district municipality North has therefore focussed on the redeveloping of the railway viaduct into a public green space. The municipality or district North however, will not be the client of project Hofbogen.
